Hey Newbies….

You may want to try slow cooking on the stove top before purchasing any equipment, not to see if your DOGS LOVE HOME COOKED, THEY WILL, but to see if your lifestyle and you have the time.

YES – The  ingredients can cook quicker- but we are slow cooking to achieve the draw of nutrients  from the bone.

These nutrients found in the bone – marrow- and cartilage are easy gotten when a canine is on RAW diet, not as  easy to mimic with COOKED, but we make it as simple as can be for YOU.

We make it easy – one pot recipes that provide complete nutritional balance for your dog.
When serving we add a topper of two to round out, so all our recipes are nutritionally dense, offer the needed variety and are QUICK AND EASY.

Shopping List

Meat ( for the pot) :

  • * Chicken Thighs -Bone in , Skin On  10 pounds
NOTE: Organic is Best .  Antibiotic and Hormone Free are Second Best.
Truth -anything is better than the meat they use in commercial.
So Do what you Can afford.

We use Chicken Thighs as a Staple because;
  • It's comparably inexpensive.
  • Few dogs have intolerances with Chicken
NOTE: Though Chicken is listed as High Intolerance but that is based on Commercial – Processed Dog Food that is highly chemical laden.
People are always shocked when they have gotten their dog tested and it’s a chicken allergy AND YET no reaction to our recipes.
  • Chicken Thighs have a large bone which provides lots of collagen and vitamins and forms a potent Collagen broth.
  • If you are not doing RAW and then your dog is not getting the much-needed bone, this helps towards offsetting the nutritional deficit.
FYI- they were getting a deficit  in Calcium, while  eating  commercial Dog Food also .  So if you are still doing commercial dog food - Consider adding Collagen Broth and Aunt Lyn's Stop the Scoots!

  • Cows Liver (1) 16 oz sliced
  • ( counts as both red meat and organ meat) Or (Either-Or NOT both)
  • Chicken or Turkey Giblets  (1) pint

Red Meat 8-ounces 15% fat or more - chopped ground meat ( organic or without hormone or antibiotics)

All good healthy fat a dog needs. Without Good Fat,the coat dulls – Eye issues can occur….

Remember the epidemic of Pancreatitis stems from the repurposed grease used to preserve commercial dog food both wet and dry. NOT Quality MEAT.

  • Eggs 3-4 Hard Boiled

* NEWBIE NOTE: use only (1) Meat ( Chicken ) to intro -when first starting to Home cook.

This way you can Journal and make sure each ingredient agrees with your dog.

Other meats, and the much-needed organ meat ( liver or giblets )- can be introduced later.
Veggies- Mix Both or Choose (1) FOR THE POT
  • Fresh Celery
  • Fresh  Carrots
*A Total of 15-20 ounces of the above veggies combined NOT EACH.

*NEWBIE NOTE :  Choose( 1) veggie from above when first  introducing
 Home cooked meals.

 - Fresh Sweet Potato or Yams Large - Skinned and cut in 4
- Aunt Lyn’s Essential Herb Blend ( 7) level tablespoons – to provide the much needed immune booster and beneficial gastro landscape that tender Herbs provide Canines in nature but now they have no access to.

TIP: Super Food Digestive Aids:
Sweet potato – Pumpkin – and Aunt Lyn’s Stop the Scoots Calcium work towards replacing the loss of actual BONE from the diet and keep the  Digestive Tract and Stools in “ Solid Shape”.
